Robyn Bittner Counseling

I graduated from The University of Dayton with a Masters of Science in Community and Agency Counseling.

I have been working in various mental health settings with children, adolescents and adults since 2001 and I am now very excited to be opening my own private practice.  I always strive to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and promote an authentic connection with my clients.  Life can get difficult and messy, therefore, I believe that we can all benefit from an outside perspective while receiving encouragement and guidance.  

Treatment is best understood as a series of meetings with the therapist to understand the difficulties and then to attempt to address them through various approaches and to track your progress.  I prefer to use many different approaches during the sessions such as Cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused and Strength Based.

I have experience in helping my clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, communication skills, relationship issues and finding self compassion. Goals for my clients include helping them to discover new ways of thinking, behaving and utilizing coping skills in order for them to build confidence, change, grow and discover a plan to move forward.
